Since “St. Brendan” is complete, I have now turned my attention to Jeanette’s quilt. I have cut all of my fabric into 5.5″ x 5.5″ squares.

Time to start sewing.

I’ve finished the quilting on Brendan’s quilt. I did a combination of in-the-ditch and free motion quilting.

quilted!
Brendan’s quilt is coming along. I had a marathon sewing session over Memorial Day weekend and finished the pieced backing.

I am going to make a quilt for Jeanette. I decided to make it a Little Red Riding Hood inspired quilt.
Here’s the anchor fabric.

Today was a sewing circle day at my place. I spent it cutting out squares for Brendan’s quilt (the border around the panel of ships).

Hopefully I’ll have the quilt top finished by the end of the week.

I love it! I can’t wait to add the borders.

I told myself I wouldn’t work on Brendan’s quilt until I completely finished the bedroom one, but I couldn’t help myself. I cut out the fabric for my ships and started my good old assembly line. I have ship hulls and all sails galore, all of which are sewn and pressed.
