I need some artistic advice for my quilt. I’ve finally made myself quilt and bind this bad boy, but I still really don’t like it for various reasons. So, in an effort to tone down the yellow (I really don’t care for warm colors), I thought woodland creature appliqués might be cute. Forgive the terrible photos.

A missionary came to our church in Tennessee (West Hills Presbyterian). He had a Bible story cloth with him. The International Mission Board makes fabric panels of forty-two pictures of stories from the Bible. These panels are used to spread the gospel to the non-literate peoples of the world. Missionaries teach the stories of the Bible using the pictures printed on the fabric. Each panel comes with a paper listing the corresponding scriptures.
until Christmas. I think I need to start thinking about making a Christmas quilt. Don’t you agree?

Big Book of Rotary Cutter Quilts
I finally found some backing fabric for Jeanette’s quilt! I knew I wanted green, and I found this material at Jo-Ann’s.
Back in April, I bought this adorable fabric from Jo-Ann’s to make myself a quilt.
Edit: The far left fabric with the scrolling green pattern is from Hobby Lobby.
I was pretty productive this week with Jeanette’s Little Red Riding Hood quilt. Woohoo!
Once I had all of the squares cut, I sewed them into strips of three.
