We are leaving the UP before three ladies I know give birth, so I sewed up some gender neutral burp cloths.

Diaper Bag
I am going to make a diaper bag for the expectant girl at work. I’m using a pattern from one of my new books.

Wish me luck!

Baby Gift
A girl at work is due next month. She is waiting until delivery to learn the gender of her baby, hence the green and yellow. Here is an Amish puzzle ball and two embellished burp cloths gift set:

One burp cloth (cloth diaper) has polka dot binding and two rows of rickrack. The other features a simple panel of ducklings. The fabrics are from Jo-Ann’s: remnants that I bought before moving to Michigan.

Gnome Blocks
There are babies-galore here in the UP. I’m glad it’s so much fun to sew for them. I used my latest fabric stash additions to make these cute little blocks.

Baby Rogers: Part III
Hmmm, what could Baby Rogers wear with her shoes and ruffled bonnet…? How about a ruffled onesie!
Baby Rogers: Part II
After sewing the little Mary Janes for my friend’s baby, I thought about what needed to be made next. I came across this darling tutorial for a ruffled bonnet on The Cottage Home and was instantly inspired!
Baby Rogers
My absolute best friend is going to have another little girl in December. I started the sewing-fest with a little pair of shoes (Simplicity 2471).
