Yes, I know it’s just the beginning of November, but here in the UP, winter is merely a chilly step around the corner. To keep me warm, my dear in-laws purchased a lovely L.L. Bean parka for me as Christmas present.

Starbucks Lesson

In an effort to look/feel better, Brendan and I have been walking everyday this summer. I’ve also switched to diet soda and cereal for lunch. Anyhoo, a few days ago I picked up Starbucks for Brendan and decided I would get something for myself. I ordered my favorite drink: a small tall mocha frappuccino. Struck with instant guilt–I asked for a “lite” one. Big mistake. If you’re going to indulge in paying Starbucks’ prices, you should also indulge in the fat and yummy-ness.
I managed to finish my diet Starbucks, and thought I should pass on the information.

What is going on with all the crazy M&M’s? Brendan and I liked the strawberry peanut butter ones, and we recently saw pretzel and cherry M&M’s at Kroger.
Of course, I had to buy a pack of each. It’s my duty as a chocolate lover.
New Headphones

Well, after a good long service life (for daily use), my Sennheiser PX100′s have developed a bad connection somewhere in the signal cables. 
Makes me very sad, as for the price, I’ve never had a set of headphones that combined so much quality, comfort, and portability in one package. I use/used them almost exclusively over the “in-ear” type headphones due to the comfort; Also, a decent set of ear-buds costs more than I’m willing to spend on set of ‘phones to which the kinds of abuse portable headphones are subjected.
