Finna wore her OSU onesie to see her Grandpa Knapp off on Monday morning.

Even Mommy wore some scarlet and grey for the occasion.

On Saturday, Brendan took his girls for a drive. Finna dressed for the occasion:

Thanks Aunt Joyce for the adorable onesie. Unfortunately, the black tutu is too big for her still. But I think that red hot-pants work nicely.

Only six more weeks until we meet the cupcake!
Brendan and I start our childbirth classes this Thursday. Wish us luck (and cross your fingers for us that we won’t have to watch a video. Bleh!)

Tiff
When my family came for New Year’s Eve, they got to see the cupcake’s nursery. The walls are still pretty bare and I have some work to do still, but I think there was enough stuff and little details to make the tour interesting.

Mom found the shoe drawer:

My beautiful family met Brendan and me in Lafayette, Indiana for lunch and our Christmas present exchange. Brendan and I have an awesome new camera . . . Now if only we could remember to use it . . . These are sadly the few snapshots that we have:

I stitched up a few more pretty burp cloths for Baby Girl. I used basic Gerber cloth diapers, a fat quarter that’s been in my stash for literally years, and some animal shapes that I had cut out while working on my circus mat and was still living in the U.P. (Baby Girl, do you have any notion of how much I’ve wanted you, and for how long?)

Jeanette planned and hosted the absolute BEST baby shower for me. I was overwhelmed and humbled by the love that was shown to me and my family. Words cannot express how awesome it was, but perhaps a sampling of pictures will reflect but a shadow of the greatness that was my party.
