Mom and Dad Sullivan generously gave us their old kitchen table and chairs. I LOVE having a real dining room. We actually sit at the table and eat! Brendan and I have rarely done that in our five years of marriage; in the UP we didn’t even have a table! Anyway, one of the best parts of having a table is the decor. Since the table needs to be refinished, tablecloths are a must. In the three weeks of living in our new place, I’ve already purchased that many tablecloths (black, cream, and aqua). The aqua one is probably my favorite. I bought it at Target and then promptly went to my fabric stash to find some coordinating fabric for six placemats.
He is risen!
To celebrate Easter, I sewed up some massive Peeps (pattern courtesy of Dandelions and Lace). Aren’t they cute?
*Some* progress we have made in the bedroom includes acquiring furniture. We went to an antique mall and bought a dresser and a nightstand. The BEAUTIFUL bed is from Mom and Dad Sullivan.

Today was the home inspection, and it went very well. So now, I can start dreaming of wall colors…

Love,
Tiff
