Brendan changed out the windshield wipers on my Escape in response to the wintry weather we experienced a few weeks ago.

Car Wash

Brendan washed my Escape while we were staying at Mom and Dad Sullivan’s. Yes, it is post worthy as my car hasn’t been clean in a very long time. Plus, I really love my car.

Brendan just got all of his hair cut off. I’ll have to take a picture; he looks so cute!

Motorcycle Ride

On our motorcycle rides, Brendan and I often encounter interesting things. Two weekends ago we came across a Ford Model A meet in Clinton, Wisconsin. The cars were really cool.

Connor’s Car Cozy

My friend’s oldest son turned four recently. He loves all things red and car-related. Hence, my little gift to him:

I slightly modified this pattern for mine. The fabric came from my local quilt shop.

I love that little road.

I’m not really pleased with the iron-on letters. They were very frustrating to work with, and I regret putting them on the pockets. But, once one was on, I really couldn’t stop. I console myself with the fact that even if they went on properly, they would have been scratched up sooner or later by an active littler racer.

Sunday Drive

Escape’s Damage

Last week my Ford Escape was damaged.

I was in a parking lot waiting to turn left onto a four-lane highway. A truck with a flatbed trailer turned left off of this highway into my parking lot. Before it could complete the turn, someone on my left and in the far right lane hit the trailer at full speed and pushed it into the poor Escape.

Sadly, the shop can’t accommodate me until November 1st. I really do not like driving around in it. I’m sure everyone is steering clear of me thinking, “What a horrible driver” because that’s exactly what I would be thinking. :/

I am thankful, however, that my insurance will cover everything, including our deductible and a rental car. Woohoo for Geico!

Some may consider the U.P. to be the middle of nowhere, but I know better. It’s the end of nowhere. Brendan and I drove up the Keweenaw Peninsula and saw this sign:

"Road Ends": Not for Brendans super truck!

Someday Brendan will really have to explore these “roads” and write a post.
