My newest quilting books says I should buy fabric that I like when I see it because it may not be there later. It also said I should probably just get a quarter of a yard. Well, you don’t have to tell me to buy fabric twice! I like buying quarter yards, too, because it doesn’t feel like I’m spending a lot of money (Brendan may disagree on that point).

Well now you know why any seamstress has a couple closets full of fabric! Hee Hee! Enjoy! I know Grandmom was always disappointed when she didn’t buy the fabric she liked because she never could get it later when she wanted it.

the red planks reminds me of some “shorts” grandma made one year. I loved those! I think you should ask gma for her “pattern” for “shorts”… sorry for all the ” ” but hopefully someone else remembers what I am talking about it…

I remember the shorts. Fortunately, I never received a pair.
