I haven’t found the perfect backing for Jeanette’s quilt. In the meantime, I’ve been playing around in the “sewing room” (i.e. our office). I made this little block.
Isn’t it cute? It’s a small 3D butterfly. I saw this block in some magazine at Hobby Lobby. When I went back to buy it, I couldn’t find the magazine or any pattern online (hence the lack of source credit).
I don’t have any plans for this little block, but I didn’t want to forget the idea. For now, I’m content to have it sitting on my desk looking super cute.
