Brendan’s quilt is coming along. I had a marathon sewing session over Memorial Day weekend and finished the pieced backing.
The rows of squares are divided with blue (from the “skies”) sashing. The second row has two ships (my trial block and one random extra block) and various scraps.

I think the backing is almost as interesting as the front.
I have the “sandwich” pinned and now need to get down to stitching. I hope the quilting won’t be too difficult with the pieced the back…
