I completed Emory’s gift last weekend.

I made the entire gift from my stash (like a real crafty “sewist”!) The purple fabric print is from my wraparound skirt, and the solid purple pieces (on the bottom) are from my cupcake cushions.
The little kitten’s face is embroidered.

I wanted to give Emory something practical, too. Therefore I embellished two cloth diapers to serve as burp cloths.
I appliquéd an “E” on one, because all ladies need monogrammed linens.

The second burp cloth has a blossom appliquéd on it and is embellished with my favorite trim: rickrack!
